Success Stories

 A referral was made to the Dane County District Attorney’s office for an alleged second degree sexual assault.  We were able to convince the prosecutor to not issue charges and the case was not prosecuted.

A juvenile was referred to the Dane County District Attorney’s office for a third degree sexual assault.  We were able to obtain a deferral to Health and Human Services.  We were able to convince the prosecutor to offer the deferral agreement and not charge the juvenile criminally.

The University recommended expulsion for an alleged sexual assault.  We were able to negotiate two years of suspension with eligibility for reinstatement instead of expulsion.

A referral was made to the Dane County District Attorney’s office and City Attorney’s office for multiple incidents of alleged underage drinking.  The Dane County case was dismissed and the City citation was held open for twelve months to be dismissed if no further alcohol violations.

A referral was made to the United States Attorney’s office for multiple alleged tax crimes.  We were able to convince the prosecutor not to charge the case.

A client was charged with felony burglary.  We were able to negotiate a misdemeanor resolution.  The State argued for jail.  We argued for a fine.  The Court imposed a fine.

A client had addiction issues and was charged with multiple felonies in multiple counties.  We were able to negotiate a non-felony disposition for all of the cases and assisted client to connect with proper treatment providers.
